Miss Zachary Pageant / Zfest 2012

Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012

Entry fee: $50 Ages 0-13 / $70 for Ages $14-23

Complete and submit attached application form with entry fee. Dress Attire: Anyone wishing to participate needs only to wear a nice Sunday Dress (ex. Easter dress) for ages 0-11, ages 12-14 a party dress and ages 17-23 Prom or formal dress(long). This is a part of Zfest. All receiving an award will appear at the festival for a fashion show on Sunday 18^th. A special award will be presented at fashion show. This is a NO GLITZ PAGEANT. No excessive makeup or glitz dresses.

Registration: Registration is $50 for one child (2^nd and 3^rd child are $40 each in the 2-13 age group) and $70 in the Teen and Miss div. Please mail fees and applications to Rhonda Gerald at: 22220 W J Wicker Rd Zachary, La. 70791. Late Registration is an extra $15.

Make checks payable to Rhonda Gerald. Registration is due March 2^th.

Judging: Girls will be judged on Poise, Beauty, Style and modeling (the little miss contestants will be judged on personality instead of poise) Those participating in the Teen and Miss will be asked an onstage question. There will also be a 3 min. interview (Panel style) for Teen and Miss Division.Photogenic: There will be an additional charge of $5 to Participate in the Most Photogenic category. Must bring your Photo the day of the pageant. Photos need to be no larger than 5X7 no smaller than 4X6.This is optional for any girls who may be interested.

Awards: there will be the following in each Division; Queen, Princess, 1^st Runner up, 2^nd Runner up,3^rd Runner up, Best Model, Best Fashion, Prettiest Eyes, Smile, & Hair, Most Photogenic.(Awards may differ depending on age group)

Rules:

1. Must live with-in a 25 mile radius of Zachary La.

2. Must be single, without a child, not divorced or widowed and cannot have been a Miss Zachary 2011 winner.

3. Please be aware that the judges will be given the same information as the contestants, and are encouraged to select the girl who will make the best Queen. If you feel you cannot commit yourself to the responsibilities of being our Queen, please refrain from competing. Once your application is received, you will be sent the set of guidelines, and festival information. Should you enter late this will affect you receiving this information.

4. Please advise your guests: Door admission is $5.00; EVERYONE MUST PAY(Excluding Contestant and 1 parent) 5. Should a contestant decide not to compete, or is deemed ineligible after she has paid her entry, her money will not be refunded. 6. Contestants under the age of eighteen (18) MUST have a parent/guardian present.
